The production of even such a flag, however, has its own specifics, and you can spot a quality product very quickly. Only the best work can resist the strains of adverse weather conditions.

Standard dimensions and orientation of outdoor flags
Outdoor flags are made in standard 2:3 ratio, and may have either horizontal, or vertical orientation. But, of course, we can manufacture an outdoor flag in any size and shape for you.
The horizontal orientation of an outdoor flag: 60 x 90 cm, 100 x 150 cm, 140 x 210 cm, 200 x 300 cm.
The vertical orientation of an outdoor flag: 90 x 250 cm, 120 x 300 cm, 150 x 400 cm, 180 x 500 cm.
Production of outdoor flags
We use three basic printing techniques in our production: screen printing, dye-sublimation printing, and digital printing. We recommend a printing method based on the amount, the the number of colors and the complexity of the graphic design of the flag. Another important factor is the delivery period of an order. If the customer’s order is urgent, we recommend using digital printing, for orders of less than 10 pcs or for those with a complex design, we advise using dye-sublimation printing. However, if it suits the client’s requests, we would always recommend the printing technique with the most beautiful results - screen printing.

The most important indicator of the quality of a flag is its color and shine. To achieve the highest quality, we recommend using so-called screen printing technique, which ensures that the colors are equally seeped in both sides of the flag. The intensity and color saturation is then almost identical on both sides of the flag - 99 %. Thanks to the higher penetration of this technique, the colors are more intensive, lustrous and presentable.

The next method we use, is the dye-sublimation printing method, which ensures higher quality color penetration, up to 90%. Here, we use the CMYK color model.

The last method, which is recommended only in case of express orders, is digital printing, which has the color penetration up to 70%.
Printing techniques

Screen printing (indirect printing) - the basis of this technique is creating a stencil and subsequent applying of the color across the permeable areas of the stencil. The stencil is fixed on printing mesh. The permeable areas of the stencil allow the transfer of the color through the mesh. The advantage of screen printing is the number of individual coats of the printing colors.

Dye-sublimation printing (transfer printing) – unique dye colors are transferred to sheets of “transfer” paper and from it the the selected design is then applied on the fabric using a heat press. There is a transition between two physical phases. Special dye turns from solid into gas state. Due to the heating of the substrate, its pores open up and the dye gas is absorbed by them. After lowering the temperature, the pores close and the gas changes its state back into solid state, becoming a part of the substrate.

Digital print (direct print) – a technique that requires no intermediate step while printing, graphics are printed directly from a computer using a simple printer.
Outdoor flag attachment
A flag can be attached using snap hooks, a sleeve, or a combination of the two.
Snap hooks: the flag is fitted with two or more metal or plastic snap hooks which are used for attaching to a rope on a flagpole.
A sleeve: a flag has a sewn-in 5 cm wide sleeve, which is slid onto a flagpole or a rod. In that case, the diameter of the pole/ rod can measure up to 2,5 cm.
